Anyway, I had a meeting in Hertfordshire, which is about an hour away from the center of London. Before leaving, I cried {I'm becoming a big baby these days...} because I was so nervous about getting there and back without a phone {aka Siri to help me navigate}. In any case, I MADE IT! I used every form of possible transportation: bus, tube, and overground {a train that travels to the outskirts/suburbs of London}. And the meeting was quite successful; it looks like I will be substitute teaching {aka doing "supply work"} starting in February {I may cry, again, on my first day because I'm so nervous about this too!}.
The pictures below show the London Midland, which is the overground train. I guess if I'm going to truly be a Lady of Leisure, I need to know how to use this so I can explore outside the city ;).
