"Why don't we come here every day to eat?" Ross asked me as he gobbled down his salted, beef bagel sandwich. I nodded in agreement while chowing down on a not-your-average grilled cheese. Rather than describing the delightfully delicious and glorious food, I'll let the photos speak for itself. Don't feel bad if you drool; my mouth is watering just looking at these pictures! Borough Market is located by the Shard in Southwark {tall, triangle in the background}. Ross thought about that little piggy above for lunch. But Ross continued to search for the perfect meal {see him in the red hat above?}... HIs interests peaked after seeing the above cheese being melted on his future lunch.... ...and it was a success {that smile tells you everything!}! Now it was my turn to find my perfect meal... It was easy once I spotted all.this.cheese. My sandwich and I were destined to be! With bellies full and smiles on our faces, we walked off the excess calories by wandering around the market {and maybe window shopping for some dessert}. For the record, those are cookies above and not frisbees {and also for the record, no, I did not try one...}. So nice to meet you, Borough Market; YOU, my friend, are the bee's knees, and I just know we'll become bffs quickly ;) {hashtag SupportYourLocalMarket, hashtag SupportSmallBusinesses, hashtag HappyLiveLaughLoveFeast}.

Saw a comment you made on instagram and decided to check out your blog. It looks like we have been up to the same sort of activities. We recently moved from Canada and I found all your thoughts on expat life and getting settled in London quite amusing as we went through the same thing ourselves! It would be great to connect as its hard to meet people in this big city!

Andrea, Thanks for stopping by! I'm glad you found our experiences similar. While, at times it frustrating, overwhelming, and exciting, it's nice to know other people are feeling the same way. Feel free to email me (address in contact information) and we can grab some tea or coffee! I'm always up for making new friends :).
