And this past weekend was perfect, because it was sunny and warm, which was ideal for walking around and exploring. So after Ross and I spent the morning apartment hunting {we're hoping to move into a bigger and nicer place by November!}, we ventured to this Italian oasis.
Although I'm glad we got to see this hidden gem, I can't say that it was a lot like Venice. The only resemblance to Venice was the fact that it had a canal; there weren't as many shops or restaurants as I had expected and the canal was quite filthy, but it made for some good pictures. Which I guess is all that matters, right ;)?
Anyway, we took a little stroll, grabbed lunch, then headed home. I wouldn't rave about this area, but I do think, if given the opportunity, it's worth while to take a walk and bask in the peacefulness of Little Venice.
