We didn't have the opportunity to explore Florence again, although we will be back. But I did get to see another part of Italy: Lake Tresamino and Perugia.
Lake Tresamino is breathtaking. The weather was ideal: sunny and high 60s/70. The water glittered under the sun, and the little villa was stayed in was quaint. It reminded me of Lake Geneva, as it was a quiet lake town.
Making and eating homemade pasta made me instantly fall in love with Italy all over again. With a good, 3-course meal and delicious wine, who could not have a happy and content belly {and heart!}?
Third course below: custard pie {unbelievable!}.
