The best part of visiting a city like Cinque Terre is being right on the water. And while hiking in Cinque Terre has some of the best views, seeing each village by boat is just as beautiful, which is why we watched the sunset on a boat ride the very last night in Cinque Terre. Our very knowledgable captain for the tour, who showed us his favorite, quiet spots + caves {my fave!}. How does one get that house?! Can you imagine that giant rock falling? Destruction from the landslide. If you look closely at the water, there are little bubbles. Those are tiny fish {below} and not bubbles. After our boat ride, we opted to eat dinner in Vernazza, overlooking the water. Not only were the views stunning, the seafood and pesto were to.die.for. And THAT is how you "seas" {sorry, I had to ;)} 3 quick days in Cinque Terre. I could've spent another day just lying in the beach, but there is much more to do + see in Italy, which is why we went to Portofino for the following two days {up tomorrow!}
