In the meantime, here is what I've learned about small spaces and temporary accommodations:
1. We need to buy functional and multipurpose furniture for our permanent place, meaning pieces not just for decor but for storage, as well.
2. The more stuff that is lying around, the more cluttered the space will look.
3. Being active and out of the house is the only way to remain positive and happy.
4. That being said, without a gym to belong to and fear of running in the dark, I have to stay inside to work out. So what do I do? Meet: @YaBoyMillHoy who instructs me and kicks my butt through You Tube videos {no, really, it's a lot more difficult than it appears}, like in this 45 minute video, this 30 minute video, and this abs exercise. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to start running outside again and join a local yoga studio by our new place, but this will suffice for now.
5. Bright furniture will make a small space appear larger {or so I am envisioning- stay tuned...}.
Only 8 more days until we move. For good.
