1. People: Unlike London, the people in Madrid are friendly, warm, energetic, and full of life. And even though there was a language barrier at times, it didn't stop people from trying to communicate with us + help us. Not only was it refreshing but it reassured me that something isn't wrong with me- that I'm not the reason why people don't talk or smile at me in London. It reassured me that maybe, just maybe, I'm not at fault for strangers being so unfriendly in London.
2. Architecture: Unlike London {do you see a pattern?}, Madrid is colorful. The buildings are bright and the streets are quaint; at night, the charming town glitters with lights.
