So, in hopes to venture out and expand our world, we wanted to use the "I" scrabble letter {as part of our ABC-around-the-world-meals challenge) for Indian food. However, Ross and I were terrified to try it {amateurs}, since we were unsure of what to order.
Since Indian food is all the rage in London, many people have so kindly offered to take the sheltered children to their first Indian feast.
We went to Malabar with some friends {who I met through this blog~ yay!} on Sunday for lunch. It's their favorite Indian restaurant, and since they knew what they were doing, we thought this was a safe bet. Unfortunately, no one anticipated the restaurant to be buffet only, but we embraced it and decided "why not?" {can I throw in an old school YOLO here?}.
Well, much like the Brazilian steakhouse salad bar/buffet we tried in the winter, there weren't any labels on the food and it was a limited selection. So, sadly, I can't tell you what I ate {and no I did not eat the chicken pictured below}, but I can show you with just a couple photos I took.
Therefore, my verdict about Indian food: I must try it again. And if Ross and I keep our promise, our next meal out will be Indian, so stay tuned!
